BOOK PREVIEW

Along with the preaching of the Word of God, the administration of the Sacraments is an ordinary 'means of grace'.  They are signs and seals of the New Covenant promise that those who repent and trust Christ will be forgiven and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38,39).  The Sacraments turn our attention away from ourselves to Christ, who alone can save his people from their sins.
